Melissa Pantel-Ku LISW earned a bachelor’s degree from Bryn Mawr College and a PhD from Georgetown University (political science) before changing gears to pursue clinical social work. She attended the Mandel School at CWRU, graduating in 2016. In 2017-2018, Melissa trained in the psychodynamic psychotherapy program at the Cleveland Psychoanalytic Center.
From 2015 through 2019, Melissa provided individual and group psychotherapy to young adults at Case Western Reserve University’s counseling center. Her clinical interests include the transitions associated with young adulthood; mood disorders; anxiety; perfectionism; women’s issues; and coping with cancer. She works with clients aged 16 and up.
