Dr. Bastani is the director of NorthCoast Clinical Trials and a member of the medical staff of Laurelwood and Heather Hill Hospitals. He earned his medical degree from Pahlavi University School of Medicine and served his residency and post-doctoral fellowship at Case Western Reserve University.
Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, Dr. Bastani is a member of the American Psychiatric Association and the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. He is a renowned researcher in the treatment of schizophrenia, serving as principal investigator or sub-investigator for more than 50 clinical trials and publishing and presenting internationally. He is also a faculty member of Case Western Reserve University. Dr. Bastani’s interests include the treatment of schizophrenia, obsessive compulsive disorder and depression.
